From the same home in Washington as Muffin, Chianti and
DJ, we imported this mare for
a client a few years ago. He did clinics and won western pleasure with her the
last year, due to a change of his circumstances, he offered her back to
us. We immediately bought her back. Well, we weren't going
to import one we wouldn't have wanted ourselves!
I rode her a few times before we turned
her out with Muffin, as we couldn't wait to see a foal out of this lovely mare.
She is 15.1 with a huge hip, shoulder and tremendous bone. She is
very sweet and gentle and one the kindest mares we've ever come across.
She had a gorgeous
palomino filly in 2007. In
2008 she had a substantial dun filly who is as sweet as her mother
and is with Layla in Cheshire and been shown twice, second time at a WES
show coming second to Tia with Debbie Burns.
An absolutely flawless mare with a temperament second to
none, well, about the same as all our horses then!
Just love this mare and anyone who rides her falls in
love with her. She looks after her rider, and is as smooth as silk.
Her sire Woods Lil Peppy wasn't broke to ride until he
was 8 then he went on to win loads of cow horse events, roping and
reining on her mother's
side she has Holidoc (earner of $200,000) so a really superbly bred mare
which shows in her amazing willing character.
Her
2010 foal is on the for sale page, a very
striking palomino filly who is very
substantial, athletic and gorgeous.
Holly
is not being bred back this year as we want
to continue her riding for the next year,
then she will be bred to ZZ Hoss next year
for a 2012 foal.
