and cutting real cows in USA!!
We bought Heidi in 2006 year and left her in USA to be bred for a 2007 foal to Wimpys Little Step. She was scanned in foal with twins then on the last scan before she was due to leave for quarantine, she was scanned again, and they'd both gone. As the breeding season over there then ended, we weren't able to re-breed her, so she came home a few months earlier than planned. I was a bit sad she wasn't in foal but delighted that I got to ride her. She had been used as a turnback horse and is a trained cutter and cowhorse, she has competed in ranch horse versatility and reining. winning almost $4,000. Her sire, Haidas Little Pep, had over $425,000 earnings and her dam is a producer of offspring of over $250,000. She has ridden out in all winds and weathers for hours and hours, competed twice in Man V Horse Marathon passing her vet checks each race in an extremely quick time and is now used as a lesson horse at Tregoyd Mountain Riders centre in Glasbury. We have also done clinics, ridden on beaches and no terrain deters her. A very honest and sweet mare who has a heart as big as Texas. An amazing horse and it is our intention is to breed her to ZZ in Spring 2010. More pics of her in action on Man V Horse page.
