We'd been searching for ages for another mare of this quality and bloodlines. We absolutely adore Boonlight Dancer and Peptoboonsmal as well as Haidas Little Pep and to find them all in one horse...!! "Pink" is a big, substantial mare standing 15 hands by Boonlight Dancer (NCHA $136,253) - her dam who won $60,000 NCHA is by Haidas Little Pep. Her pedigree is packed with money earning, top performance horses - just look at this pedigree!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yoZoEWHGWU (link to video a couple of weeks ago, Trudi and Tami riding Pink and Holly, then swapping - great horses again)
All I can say is "Wow!!" What an amazing mare. Sweet and quiet, never moved a hair when we tacked her up by the pizza oven, in our garden, a week after she arrived September 2008. She is responsive, smooth and willing. A big, deep bodied mare with a temperament as good and gentle as you only dream about. We bred her to Banjo Whiz before we shipped her in 2008. She produced a world class, drop dead gorgeous bay/roan filly who is about as good as they can possibly be. This foal is now in her new home with Pat Bontoft. http://www.dimensiontechnology.net/lindstrom/horsedone.html - link to "Pink" in reining training in USA. She is a trained cutting horse as well as team penner. We attend Tregoyd Mountain Riders, as I am teaching basic western riding there now and we wanted to try her out as she'd had almost a couple of years off with being bred, imported and shipped. She was completely amazing! Just a 6 year old and yet she never put a foot wrong, first time out since she arrived a year last summer. Gorgeous, sweet and calm - had a job to ride her myself, everyone wanted to ride this beautiful mare. We attended Shane Borland's clinic earlier this year in Warwickshire, a superb part of the country and superb facilities. If you've never attended a Shane clinic, you don't know what you are missing, he's charismatic, kind and an amazing rider and superb trainer, very easy to understand and puts across his teaching so well, even I could understand it!!
